Foreign Nationals & Firearm Use at Magnum Shooting Center

Magnum Shooting Center welcomes international guests who are legally permitted to possess and handle firearms and ammunition in the United States.

Federal law restricts when non-U.S. citizens may possess, handle, rent, or shoot firearms and ammunition. Before shooting at Magnum, all foreign nationals must be able to show that they are legally eligible.

Can Foreign Nationals Shoot at Magnum?

You may be eligible to shoot at Magnum if one of the following applies to you:

You are a U.S. lawful permanent resident

If you have a valid Permanent Resident Card, commonly known as a Green Card, you may be eligible to shoot.

Please bring your Green Card and valid government-issued photo ID.

You entered the U.S. under the Visa Waiver Program

If you entered the United States through the Visa Waiver Program with valid ESTA approval, you may be eligible to shoot.

Please bring your passport and documentation showing your Visa Waiver Program/ESTA admission.

You are a nonimmigrant visa holder with a valid exception

If you are in the U.S. on a nonimmigrant visa, you generally may not possess or handle firearms or ammunition unless a legal exception applies.

Possible exceptions may include:

  • Admission to the U.S. for lawful hunting or sporting purposes
  • Certain official foreign government, diplomatic, or law enforcement status
  • A qualifying waiver from the appropriate U.S. authority

Please bring documentation showing that your exception applies.

You May Not Shoot If You Cannot Show Eligibility

If you are a foreign national and cannot provide documentation showing that you are legally permitted to possess or handle firearms and ammunition, Magnum Shooting Center cannot allow you to shoot, rent, possess, or handle firearms or ammunition.
